Third Generation

My mother, whose grandparents had a small bakery in Houston, started Sonshine Weddings in the early 1970’s. Growing up, I watched and helped her make countless brides happy with cakes, flowers, and every single little detail that a wedding entails. As I got older, I was able to take over events for her, and eventually went to work for a dude ranch in the mountains of Colorado as the special events and wedding coordinator. When we relocated back to Texas over 20 years ago, I was able to work with my mother again, until she retired. I have always cherished receiving her talent for creating beautiful events, and now it’s time for me to continue the family legacy.
